New Setting: Password Required for Meetings

Beginning November 23rd, 2019, all newly scheduled and instant Zoom meetings will require a password by default.

How will this affect users joining my meetings? This change will not affect users who join by clicking the meeting link or through the desktop calendar integration. Users who join by manually entering in the meeting ID will need to enter the password manually as well.

Where can I find the meeting password? For scheduled meetings, the meeting password will be in the invitation. For instant meetings, the password will be displayed in the Zoom Client or on the Zoom Rooms Controller. The password is also included in the meeting join URL.

Can I disable these settings? You can disable these settings for your meetings by going to the Meeting tab under Settings.
