What is Starfish?
Starfish is a higher education technology product developed by EAB aimed at helping students succeed in their academic journey. It provides institutions with insights into student data, enabling proactive support and intervention. The platform also simplifies communication between faculty and student services, eases the burden on students who need to contact support services, and optimizes student success at institutions. It integrates with various university systems and is used by faculty, staff, and students to support student success.

Who uses Starfish?
Starfish is available to JHU faculty, staff, and undergraduate and graduate students in ASEN, Peabody, and the School of Education. There are many other roles in Starfish beyond those for advisers and instructors, and new roles are added all the time to fit JHU’s specific needs.
