Under the terms of the Family Educational Rights and Privacy Act (FERPA), a federal law that protects the privacy of student education records, eligible students in attendance have the right to restrict JHU’s disclosure of their Directory Information.
The Directory Information (FERPA) page under the Personal Info section is visible to students on the first day of the first term in which they are enrolled for academic credit in one or more classes as part of degree or non-degree offerings under any instructional delivery method/modality.
Please see the Office of the University Registrar’s Directory Information and FERPA Compliance websites for more information and instructions on how to use the Directory Information (FERPA) page.
